Boox Automation - Terms of Service

IMPORTANT NOTICE

These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the use of services provided by Boox Automation (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing or using our services, the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to these terms.

Boox Automation provides managed website and communication automation services for businesses, including but not limited to home service businesses such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, contractors, and similar businesses.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

Boox Automation provides managed digital services which may include:

  • Website design and development
  • Website hosting and maintenance
  • AI chatbot integrations
  • Missed-call text-back automation
  • Review request automation
  • Customer inquiry forms
  • Lead routing systems
  • SMS communication automations
  • Website integrations
  • Basic technical maintenance

Services may rely on third-party platforms and providers including but not limited to:

  • GoHighLevel
  • Twilio
  • OpenAI
  • Google
  • Telecommunications providers
  • Website hosting providers
  • Analytics providers

Boox Automation is not responsible for outages, interruptions, delays, platform changes, account restrictions, or failures caused by third-party services.

2. MANAGED SERVICE STRUCTURE

Boox Automation operates as a managed service provider.

Clients are purchasing managed services and functionality, not ownership of Boox Automation’s internal systems, automations, infrastructure, or software accounts.

Clients are not provided direct access to Boox Automation’s internal systems or backend platforms unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate business information
  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Provide lawful business content
  • Provide required access for integrations when necessary
  • Maintain legal compliance regarding communications with customers
  • Obtain any legally required consent before contacting customers through SMS, phone, or email communications

The Client is solely responsible for compliance with:

  • TCPA regulations
  • CAN-SPAM regulations
  • Local and federal communication laws
  • Advertising laws
  • Customer communication consent requirements

Boox Automation does not provide legal compliance services.

4. PHONE NUMBER ACCESS AUTHORIZATION

In order to provide missed-call text-back and communication automation services, the Client authorizes Boox Automation to configure integrations and automations connected to the Client’s business phone number(s).

The Client confirms they have authority to grant such access.

The Client acknowledges that automated responses, SMS messages, or communication workflows may be sent through systems connected to the Client’s business phone number.

The Client is solely responsible for ensuring proper customer consent exists for communications.

5. EMAIL ACCESS AUTHORIZATION

Where necessary for integrations or automation setup, the Client may provide access to business email accounts.

The Client authorizes Boox Automation to use such access solely for implementation, integration, automation configuration, or service functionality.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

Services are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The standard monthly service rate is $300 per month unless otherwise agreed.

By purchasing services, the Client authorizes recurring billing for active services.

Failure to make payment may result in:

  • Suspension of services
  • Website downtime
  • Removal of automations
  • Disabling of integrations
  • Termination of services

Boox Automation reserves the right to suspend services for overdue invoices.

7. NO REFUND POLICY

ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

Due to the digital and service-based nature of the work provided, Boox Automation does not provide refunds for:

  • Monthly service fees
  • Setup work
  • Development work
  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused time
  • Cancellations after billing
  • Completed work
  • Automation setup
  • Website creation

Cancellation of services only prevents future billing when applicable and does not create entitlement to refunds.

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients may request cancellation of services by written notice.

Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing cycle.

Once cancellation is processed:

  • Future recurring billing may stop
  • Services may be terminated
  • Websites may be taken offline
  • Automations may be disabled
  • Integrations may be removed
  • System access may be revoked

Boox Automation is not responsible for losses resulting from service termination after cancellation.

9. OWNERSHIP OF SYSTEMS AND ACCESS

All systems, automations, backend infrastructure, workflows, integrations, configurations, snapshots, templates, and internal operational systems used by Boox Automation remain the exclusive property of Boox Automation unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

Websites and automation systems may be hosted within accounts, systems, or infrastructure owned or controlled by Boox Automation.

Upon cancellation or termination:

  • Client access may be revoked
  • Hosted systems may be disabled
  • Automations may be removed
  • Websites hosted within Boox Automation systems may be taken offline

The Client does not obtain ownership rights to Boox Automation’s systems, infrastructure, workflows, automations, or proprietary configurations.

However, the Client retains ownership of:

  • Their business name
  • Logos provided by the Client
  • Trademarks owned by the Client
  • Original business information provided by the Client

10. NO PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES

Boox Automation does not guarantee:

  • Revenue increases
  • Lead generation results
  • Customer conversion rates
  • Search engine rankings
  • Customer retention
  • Business growth
  • Uninterrupted service availability

Results may vary based on market conditions, competition, customer behavior, and external factors outside our control.

11. AI CHATBOT DISCLAIMER

AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies.

AI systems should not be relied upon for:

  • Legal advice
  • Medical advice
  • Emergency advice
  • Financial advice
  • Professional licensed advice

The Client is responsible for reviewing the suitability of chatbot behavior and automated communication flows.

Boox Automation is not liable for damages resulting from AI-generated responses.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boox Automation shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost leads
  • Lost business opportunities
  • Indirect damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Data loss
  • Communication failures
  • Downtime caused by third-party providers

Maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client to Boox Automation during the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

Boox Automation reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for:

  • Non-payment
  • Abusive behavior
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Illegal activity
  • Misuse of communication systems
  • Violation of these terms

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed under the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.

Message and data rates may apply.

DATA SECURITY

Boox Automation uses reasonable safeguards to protect information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

DATA SHARING

Boox Automation does not sell personal information.

Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP where applicable. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.

Refund Policy

Boox Automation does not provide refunds for:

  • Monthly service fees
  • Setup fees
  • Website development work
  • Automation setup
  • Partial billing periods
  • Cancellations after billing
  • Unused services

Cancellation only prevents future charges where applicable and does not entitle the Client to refunds.
